Field trips and tours reservations are available throughout the year, free of charge.
Everyone, young and old, of all backgrounds and religious faiths and traditions are welcome to the IDC.
Should you or a representative of your group choose to visit the center before your arrival time, you are welcome.
The IDC reserves the right to ask for Field Trip Permission slips signed by parents. Failure to do so may result in canceling the event(s) at no cost/liability to the IDC.
There is no time limit for field trips, but the typical duration is 1-2 hours.
Reservations are available beginning at 8 am until 12 pm on weekdays and 11 am to 4 pm on weekends.
All field trips are guided tours. Field trips begin with a brief orientation of the building’s history and a walk around the facility.
Once you have submitted your form, you will receive confirmation via email within five business days. Note that your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a conformation email.
There should be one chaperone per every 15 students in the tour.
Guidelines and Parking
Appropriate dress is required. (Modest, unrevealing) Women should bring scarves, if they cannot bring one, a scarf will be provided at the Center – free of charge.
Food & Drink
Food and drinks are not allowed anywhere in the center.
Bags & Packages
Back bags & large packages are not allowed in the prayer hall or the basement. Visitors may leave these items by the front desk.
The center is wheelchair accessible.
Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available at all levels.
Please place your cell phone on silent so others can enjoy their visit.
Elevators are available from the ground floor.
The center has its own parking area. It is accessible through Travis & Franklin St.
Double parking is not allowed in the center’s parking area.
The Islamic Da`wah Center is a smoke free facility
Photography/Video & Audio
Photography & video or audio recorders are not permitted anywhere in the center.
